Security Officer - 40 hours per week

Aspers is a premier entertainment destination for all local and international visitors. We provide patrons with a broad choice of gaming options, restaurant and bar hospitality, live entertainment and other leisure offerings to meet their expectations.

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified professionals to work 40 hours per week on a permanent contract, at our established site in Northampton. Brand Ambassadors for the business, a Security Officer is an advocate of creating a friendly; entertaining and safe Casino environment compliant with license conditions and SIA legislation. Successful applicants will have accountability for:

Providing timely advice; support; guidance and direction for Northampton patrons with regards to the secure and compliant environment.

Displaying positive and consistent visibility on the Gaming Floor.

Minimising risk through the demonstration of an acute understanding of compliance & legislation.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • A valid SIA Door Supervisors Licence
  • Trained in the delivery of First Aid
  • Understanding of Challenge 25
  • Knowledge of the Northampton area & clientele
  • A minimum of 6 months security experience in a high volume, fast paced environment governed by legislation

Additional Information

The Security Officer role forms part of a 7 day 24 hour operation, as such flexibility is required by the incumbent.  There is a minimum expectation that the role will work shifts and this means evening and weekend obligations outside of “normal” working hours.
