KITCHEN MANAGER £32,000pa

We are seeking to recruit for the position of Kitchen Manager at our Aspers Westfield Stratford City site.

This position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager, and will be responsible for:

• Running the kitchen and will identify and conduct training needs and understand company compliance procedures.
• Ordering of goods and have knowledge of suppliers.
• Identify and report broken or faulty equipment and ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Responsible for External Hygiene Audits, actioning any subsequent recommendations
• Demonstrate safe and structured training for all staff and have an awareness of all the job roles for their team members
• Oversee all food production and service in the kitchen, taking a proactive approach to cooking, plating, and sending cuisine when on shift. 

Selection Criteria (Essential)

• Minimum of 12 months Kitchen Manager experience in a high-volume venue
• Extensive knowledge Food & Kitchen operation
• Excellent understanding of customer services principles
• Level 3 Food Safety Certification
• Customer Focused
• Confident decision making
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability for independent working in a fast paced, high-volume environment

This role functions in a business that operates evenings and weekends, and as such full flexibility is required.  The role will be expected to be available to work for any requirements within Aspers & this will mean evening & weekend obligations outside of ‘normal’ working hours
