Based at Aspers Westfield Stratford City

We are currently recruiting for a proven leader for the newly created position of Head of Bars at our Aspers Westfield Stratford City site. This exciting new addition to the team will be accountable for managing the Beverage and Valet operation to meet and deliver customer expectations and achieve financial targets.

The Head of Bars will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Bars and Valet team service standards to meet customer, compliance and Company expectations and will be a visible leader to both internal and external customers in the bars and valet operational function. The fundamental purpose of the role is to achieve exceptional quality and service within budget whilst maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and compliance to legislation.

Aspers Head of Bars at Stratford will assume responsibility for a minimum of 3 duty manager shifts a week. The duty management shifts are all about being visible leaders throughout the property in all customer-facing areas. Focused on the general operating floor management - not limited to creating and maintaining efficiencies, standards, compliance and issues within the organisation as well as ensuring that customer issues are properly handled.

Selection Criteria (Desirable)

  • A minimum of 5 years senior/middle management Bars/Hospitality experience.
  • Valid Personal Liqour License holder
  • Ability to become a PML holder
  • DPS License holder
  • Micros champion user
  • Customer Service focused
  • Knowledge of planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial processes such as cost control
  • Good understanding of health & hygiene legislation (HACCP)
  • Solid understanding of leadership and management practices
