It was a bumper night for Aspers Group on Tuesday night at the inaugural British Casino Awards. Beating off stiff competition from many major casino operators, the group walked away with two awards for diversity and community engagement.
As well as significant wins, Aspers were also highly commended as multiple casino operator of the year, overall casino operator of the year & for the best UK marketing programme for the launch of Aspers World.
Chief Operating Officer, Richard Noble, was delighted at the success and said ‘these awards show Aspers continued commitment to diversification within our workplace & promise to support community projects that help resident’s local to our casinos. I am very proud of what we’ve achieved at this year’s ceremony and am very excited about what’s ahead for Aspers’.
The wins come after a busy period for the group with the launch of Aspers World & Aspers Casino Online, two new offerings from the brand, giving customers even more choice and chances to win in an increasingly competitive industry.
The British Casino Awards, organised by Casino International publisher Datateam Business Media, in association with the National Casino Forum (NCF), was hosted at the Hippodrome Casino, in the heart of Leicester Square and was established to champion excellence within the UK gaming sector. The awards were judged by an expert industry panel, who commended Aspers on their proactive attitude to gender equality and initiatives for fundraising.
As well as recognising and rewarding excellence, the event provided a platform to raise awareness and funds for CHIPS, a unique charity formed by the gaming industry designed to raise funds to purchase specialised powered wheelchairs for disabled youngsters. The charity collection saw an astounding sum raised, with donations totaling over £9,000.
